From Promise to Fulfillment:
Faith, Righteousness, Inheritance, & The Abundant Life In Christ
I hadn’t planned on posting, but the word rose up in me during my quiet time, so here I am.
The Word📖
It is impossible to walk in Someone you don’t know you possess, that is, knowing he has taken possession of you.
The❓
Have we allowed Christ to dwell richly in us?
Have we allowed the word of Christ to have full reign without conditions?
Do we believe what Christ says over what we see and experience?
✝️🌱
We didn’t find God! He was never lost. He pursued and continues to pursue us through the Word. We are drawn to Christ by the Spirit, and this is His manifold grace. It is all by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus.
The Message🎙️:
We cannot inherit the Promises of God apart from God, apart from believing what God has said to us through His Son. We cannot walk in the inheritance, the provision that is Christ, unless we believe Him.
🌹
God is always giving! The issue is never with Him.
🌹
The issue is always on our end. Are we receiving?
🥀
I ask you today, what is keeping you from believing what Jesus has said?
🦊
Ask Him to expose💔 it so you can release it and receive all He has for you.
“He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32
And the blessing He gives are the biggies, fruit that is produced by a life in Him: love, peace, joy, a sound mind, thankfulness, devotion, security, and much more, that aren’t based on perfect circumstances, instead experiencing His perfection in us thereby being walking perfected in Him. I didn't say we walk perfectly, but by the Spirit, life in the Spirit, we are thus transformed by His life flowing in us that effortlessly flows through us.
🌹
And God is so sweet🍯; I don’t want us to miss this that in the greatest blessing—Christ included our lesser needs, you know, the practical things. He is such an amazing Father. Jesus reminds us:
“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” Matthew 7:11.
Check the verse here👇🏾
“If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke 11:13.
I ponder whether we understand even the slightest bit of our wretchedness apart from Him. Do we believe He is good? Do we believe He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him?

Side Note 🎯the word Prosperity has been highjacked by the enemy to be a “bad thing.” I believe the first mention of the word prosperity in the Bible is in Deuteronomy 28:11. And I don't want us to miss the context of this verse, which is found in the blessings that would come to the people of Israel for their obedience. I will save this for another conversation, but I want to mention it isn't our works but believing in the finished work of Jesus that is important, and our position in Him has now blessed us. I say this so that we know without a shadow of a doubt God is the same and does not change. He cares about our lives, including the tangible things in this life.
༆
How these things come about is through His hands. Case in point: The loaves and fishes reveal the heart of God to provide for us by trusting Him as the Source. It's seeing Him first, the work of His nail-pierced hands, blood, and water from His side first and foremost. He, Himself, is the Gift. It is having Jesus that is true wealth.
༆
I am unsure who coined the term “prosperity gospel” because my Bible doesn't record it anywhere. However, it does give a glaring revelation of what happens when individuals try to fleece God's sheep.
༆
There is ONLY the Gospel! Anything else is a counterfeit, and Paul said not once but twice, let those who spew any other Gospel be anathema!
The Gospel prospers people in the best way, through The Way. There is no denying that God’s people prosper because He is abundant. If our minds immediately think of “things,” we must check our hearts. Biblical prosperity is knowing, believing, and having life in the Living God; how that shakes out in daily life is up to God. We are benefactors of His grace and should be glad for it; there is no shame in it.
🌹
Christ is the beginning, middle, and end! Everything else amounts to nothing unless Christ is the chief end!
Soak in the word📖

“For the promise to Abraham and his offspring that he would be heir of the world did not come through the law but through the righteousness of faith.” Romans 4:13.
✞
“That is why it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.” Romans 4:16.
✞
“As it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.”
Romans 4:17.
✞
“In hope he believed against hope, that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been told, “So shall your offspring be.”
Romans 4:18.
✞
“He did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.”
Romans 4:19.
✞
“No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised.” Romans 4:20-21.
✞
“That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” Romans 4:22.
✞
“But the words one “it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” Romans 4:23-25.
✞
Consider the enormity of the Promise given to Abraham. Consider that we are not only privy to the promise but also a byproduct of it. We are a testimony of God’s faithfulness to Abraham, and we witness hope go forth, we repent (change our minds about God), and we believe in Him. What a magnificent inheritance we’ve come into.
🏹Those who are the righteous by faith shall live🏹

I love how you emphasize the importance of letting Christ dwell in us and truly believing in His promises. It’s a powerful reminder to check what might be holding us back from receiving all He has for us. Thank you.
